Policies and Procedures
APPOINTMENT POLICY
Please arrive to your appointment at least 10 minutes early to ensure your appointment starts on time. If you are running late, please give notice of the late arrival either by text or by calling and leaving a message. Late arrivals are subject to the late policy below.
Good hygienic practices are requested for all appointments. Please shower after going to the gym or doing doing activities that induce heavy sweating. A hot towel service can be added to any session for $15.
Appointments are required to be confirmed 24 hours in advance.
GROUPON POLICY
Appointments are not available for same-day booking. Your voucher number is required to be on-file at the time of booking. A credit card is also required to be on-file and will be charged accordingly per the late cancelation and no-show policy. If you no-show for an appointment you will be charged the full service price according to the value of your Groupon.
You cannot use 2 of the same groupon vouchers at the same time.. You cannot combine different massage groupons (i.e. a 60 minute therapeutic massage and another 60 minute massage) together. You CAN combine a facial and a massage voucher on the same day. Additionally, you can only redeem one voucher per service type every 365 days.. Groupon handles all refunds on vouchers. If you need a refund for an unredeemed voucher, please contact them directly as I do not receive payment for vouchers until after they have been redeemed.
BOOKING POLICY
At this time, deposits are not required to schedule single appointments. Packages require a deposit of up to $50 and are required at time of booking. Bloodstone Spa & Shoppe reserves the right to require a deposit at any time, for any appointment.
CONFIRMATIONS FOR APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED. Appointments that have not been confirmed by 9am on the appointment day will be automatically cancelled and a booking fee may be assessed. Rescheduling canceled appointments is at the discretion of the spa and are not guaranteed.
Same day appointments are not available.
INTAKE FORMS
INTAKE FORMS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL APPOINTMENTS AND MUST BE UPDATED YEARLY.
Intake forms are not just a spa policy, but are also required by state law and the NC Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy.
Intake forms must be completed and submitted no less than 24 hrs before your appointment for review. If your intake form has not been submitted by that time, you’re appointment will be subject to immediate cancellation. Rescheduling will be left to the discretion of the Spa. A late cancellation fee may be applied to any appointments that are canceled within 24hrs.
Refusal to complete your intake form will result in immediate cancellation of all scheduled appointments and you will not be allowed to reschedule.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We have a twenty four (24) hr. cancellation policy. Cancellations made within 24 hours will be subject to a 50% booking charge and no-shows will result in a 100% charge. If you have multiple appointments scheduled, the fee will be 75% of the total service charges.
LATE POLICY
If you arrive late it comes directly out of your session time, regardless of reason. Please plan travel accordingly and arrive on time. If you are more than 20 minutes late to an appointment your session will be charged a $25 booking fee and you will be required to be reschedule.
CREDIT CARD POLICY
ALL bookings require a Credit Card and a Credit Card Authorization Form to be on file.
PRICING POLICY
Pricing is subject to change with or without notice.
GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICY
All sales on Gift Certificates are final. The name of the recipient may be changed at any time. All gift certificates are valid for 1 year after purchase date. After a year, the gift certificate is still able to be used but the value of the certificate depreciates by $15 per month until the card is either used or the full value depreciates to a $0 balance. Certificates may be used for products or services but cannot be used towards another gift certificate.
